2023 wrapped: the year in figures
11.12.2023 - Over the past year, we expanded our partnerships with dealers and highlighted our proud signmakers. Curious about the main achievements in 2023? We summarise the year in figures.
Our focus was on quality and customer intimacy. The goal? To strengthen the bond with our customers and attract new ones. We did this by promoting signmakers and partners and by presenting our products at one of the largest trade fairs in the sector: FESPA.
This was 2023 at a glance:
1 magnificent export award
In October, we got the great news that Grafityp received the Voka Export Award. CEO Patrick Nijs: “This is a confirmation for us that we are working on Grafityp’s growth in a positive way, with an eye for and in the customer’s interest.”
6 new dealers
In 2023, we were pleased to welcome six new dealers to the Grafityp family. These dealers will distribute Grafityp products, including GrafiTack, GrafiPrint, GrafiWrap and Omega-Skinz, in their countries, including: France, Germany, Tunisia, Turkey, Switzerland and Portugal. Thanks for your confidence!
1 new partnership
At the beginning of the year, we announced a new partnership with the French agency KSM. To better support the French market, we needed a partner operating locally. KSM is the link between manufacturing companies and French distributors with a truly local sales service
1 mega trade fair
May was once again the time of the annual FESPA Global Print Expo. A fixed appointment in the calendar that Grafityp works towards throughout the year. It is the moment to present our latest innovations and to sell our (sustainable) products. This year was another great success!
6 signmakers in the spotlight
You must have noticed. This year, we have put Grafityp fans in the spotlight. From Signts and Shannon in Belgium, Doe. Reclame and de Toekomst in the Netherlands to Germany’s Hoffmann Druck. All of them use Grafityp films day in and day out. They told us why they stick with Grafityp – and we really appreciate that opinion!

2 long-term relationships highlighted
We also took a moment to reflect on some long-term relationships this year. Our sponsorship with racing team WRT and the long-standing partnership with African family company Maizey Plastics. Those who come into contact with Grafityp stick around! We therefore go for long-term relationships, be it with suppliers, partners, or customers. 8 products in the spotlight
Grafityp has been in existence since 1969, which is quite a few years on the clock. In all those years, we have therefore produced a lot of films. This year, we have highlighted eight of those films. From a decorative film River Flow Gold to an anti-graffiti laminate LAMPVF. From a Paint Protection Film that imitates a panoramic roof to laminates for UV prints.
1 sustainability webinar
In May, we organised a sustainability webinar. A dedicated info session on our sustainable PVC-free films and our ecological initiatives. The aim? To keep our customers informed about trends in sustainability and how we at Grafityp respond to them. Want to re-watch the webinar? Click here!
2 years of Omega-Skinz
Omega-Skinz, our line of carwrap films we developed with SOTT, turned two years old! Thank you to all the car wrappers who have made the Omega-Skinz lifestyle all their own.
11 new colleagues
In 2023, we welcomed 11 new Grafityp people. They strengthen R&D, sales, HR, technical service and production, among others. Let’s stick to a further growth!
2 Grafityp magazines
In June and December, we released our familiar Grafityp magazine. An overview of all the novelties within Grafityp from the past period, including interviews with signmakers and employees.
And 2024?
To increase our customer intimacy and operational excellence, we are implementing an ERP system. In this way, we want to continue serving our customers in the best conceivable way, in a digitalised way. Preparations started this year and will continue next year so that the system will be operational in 2025.
CEO Patrick Nijs: “As we look ahead to 2024, we have to acknowledge that the challenges remain great, given the uncertainties at the global level. But if we continue to work with our partners, distributors, and suppliers on the same footing, we will make something great again in 2024.”
