Boost due to pandemic
Grafityp has been offering floor materials for indoor use on smooth or structured floors, and even on low-pile carpets for some time. Think of the FLOOR and SOL laminates and the 2-in-1 printable Floor graphic materials FLOORPRINT and FLOORPRINT HIGH TACK. During the Corona pandemic, sales of those products got a huge boost. Remember those “Keep 1.5m away” stickers? The floor stickers were mainly used to clarify the distances imposed. We were also keen to complete the range with outdoor floor materials.
Very good slip resistance.
For outdoor use, it is important that the floor material has a very good anti-skid property, even in wet conditions. Because the surface is rougher than indoors, and the film has to endure a lot more (think of the different weather conditions), this should be a sturdy and resistant film.
That’s why Grafityp developed the combination of the 75µm thick polymeric print film (reference STREETPR) with the polymeric laminate (reference STREETFL).
R12 certificate
The abrasion-resistant STREETFL laminate contains glass particles that give the material exceptional anti-skid properties. The material is finally R12 certified (DIN51130:2014-02(1)). This means the floor sticker offers a strong grip for slopes of 27 to 35°.
