2022.05.02 – Every wrapper has his own preferences when it comes to films. That is why we offer four different types of printable car wrap films at Grafityp. Discover the differences in initial tack and slideability, and find the ideal film for your way of wrapping!
These four printable car wrapping films are suitable for wrapping any vehicle, from vans to exotic sports cars. Moreover, they are equipped with ‘Air Escape Technology‘, which prevents the formation of bubbles and speeds up the application process.

Film 1 – AE38P
This film has a high initial tack and is the perfect film for wrappers who like to work with a film that feels very sticky. This film is very often used for aircraft, boats, etc. The grey adhesive ensures that the original colour of the vehicle does not show through. The film lasts up to 10 years.
Match this film with the following cast laminates : LAMX40, LAMX30 (glossy) and LAMX45 (matt).
Film 2 – AE38C
AE38C has a low initial tack, which makes it easy to move and reposition on the vehicle. Moreover, you can easily remove the film. The grey adhesive ensures that the original colour of the vehicle does not show through. The film lasts up to 10 years.
Match this film with the following cast laminates : LAMX40, LAMX30 (glossy) and LAMX45 (matt).
Film 3 – PU50C
PVC-free? Check! PU50C is the durable alternative to AE38C. Like AE38C, the initial tack is low and the film is easily repositionable. Thanks to the very flexible material, the film can be used on even the most challenging 3D surfaces. The PU50C has a lifespan of up to 10 years.
Match this film with the PVC-free laminate LAMPU38. This laminate contains a protective cap sheet, which must be removed before applying the film.
Film 4 – GT38SL
This film has a very low initial tack and is ultra slideable, making it very easy to move and reposition. Important: this film must be heated after positioning to obtain maximum adhesive strength. The film lasts up to 10 years.
