What’s in a name?
GrafiPrint AE38C is a 50 µm thin cast white glossy print film, but it did not steal its name.
The ‘AE’ stands for the Air Escape technology that characterises the product. That is, the film has a structured release liner that gives the adhesive a pattern of air channels. These channels allow you to easily wipe away air bubbles created during application.
The “C” stands for Comfort and highlights the film’s ease of application. With GrafiPrint AE38C you not only get the most beautiful prints, you also save time on application!

A functional film
Did you know that you can extend the life of the AE38C film by up to five years using the matching laminate? For example, AE38C print film is most often combined with the GrafiPrint LAMx40 laminate. This is a 40 µm cast laminate that gives your print a nice shine. If you prefer a matt effect, go for the GrafiPrint LAMx45 laminate. If you prefer a slightly thinner sandwich, use the 30 µm glossy laminate GrafiPrint LAMx30.
In addition, a laminate has other advantages. For instance, a laminate gives the film the necessary body to wrap it on a vehicle. It also protects the print from scratches and sunlight.

- Easily repositionable
Perhaps one of the greatest strengths of this print film is its repositionability. Thanks to its low initial tack, you can easily release the film from the surface and reposition it until it is just right, after which you permanently press it on.
- Extremely flexible
This self-adhesive film stretches and deforms to such an extent that it can be easily applied in indentations and over other 3D surfaces.
- Opaque effect
Thanks to the grey glue in this self-adhesive print film, the colour on the substrate, i.e. the original colour of your fleet, will not show through.
- Extra protection
Thanks to the matching laminate, you ensure extra protection in terms of UV rays and mechanical damage. In addition, the laminate keeps your print better protected during car cleaning.
