The main advantages at a glance
- Very low initial tack
Thanks to its very low initial tack, you can easily slide the film across the surface until it is positioned just right. This slideability allows you to work alone. Once the film is firmly pressed, the adhesive takes hold and guarantees a very high final adhesion.

Extend the life of your film
The GT38SL film by itself has a lifespan of as much as 10 years, but that doesn’t mean the print will stay looking perfect for that long. Inks cannot withstand the sun’s harmful UV rays for the same period of time. Fortunately, by using a matching Grafiprint laminate with UV block, you can significantly extend the life of your print.
- The print film GT38SL is usually combined with the GrafiPrint LAMx40 laminate. This is a 40 µm cast laminate that gives your print a nice gloss.
- If you prefer a matt effect, go for the GrafiPrint LAMx45 laminate.
- If you opt for a slightly thinner sandwich, use the 30 µm glossy laminate GrafiPrint LAMx30.
In addition to the much-needed UV protection, a laminate also gives the film the necessary body to wrap it on a vehicle and protects the print from scratches.
Did you know?
In the product name GT38SL, you will find the letters “SL”. No, this does not stand for the most glorious series in the Mercedes range. The “SL” stands for slideable. That means you can easily slide the film across the surface and position it as you wish. Is it positioned correctly? Just press firmly and you’re done!
