Special effect thanks to the wrapping film Pearl of Wisdom

2024.11.15 - Car company Van Mossel MB Belgium went to sign company PubliX (BE) to wrap a van. With just a screenshot, PubliX faced a serious challenge. And they gladly accepted it! Because thanks to the wrap film Pearl of Wisdom, they managed to create a sparkling result. Find out more about the film, the company, and their experience with Omega-Skinz below.

Specialist in car wrapping

PubliX, founded in 2000 by Vanessa Wittebroodt and Koen Wauters, is an established name in the sign and advertising sector, specialising in car wrapping, lettering and signage. What once started as a sideline job grew into a full-time business.

In 2016, PubliX moved to its current, larger site in Vleteren. This gave them the space to expand further and install more machines. Co-manager Koen says: ‘We had quite a lot of space and a small garage, but at some point, you just outgrow it.” The vans kept getting bigger and bigger.”

Years of collaboration with Grafityp

PubliX has had a good partnership with Grafityp for years, partly thanks to their representative Frederik from distributor Igepa. As many as 50% of their films are ours, including the Omega-Skinz range.

The Belgian origin and broad solutions for different applications are the main reasons why PubliX chooses Grafityp. For car wraps, PubliX also uses Omega-Skinz films, mainly because of their unique colours and the special gloss.

One of PubliX’s recent projects was wrapping a van for Van Mossel MB Belgium. “We received a special request to wrap that van nicely.

With the only point of reference being a photo of a similar American van.” With that, PubliX started. They completely redrew the design. ‘We wanted something extra, that is, in the film. Not a standard white but we chose Pearl Of Wisdom by Omega-Skinz. The bright pearl effect in the film comes out super nice. Especially when the sun shines on it, you get a beautiful look.”

Wrapping Mercedes cars with Omega-Skinz

In addition, the company recently wrapped eight cars for Plopsaland, a Belgian theme park belonging to the entertainment sector Studio 100. Pearl Wisdom was also chosen for this project.
